JLJP Thanksgiving

As most of us have noticed (with pity for those who actually went to school), James Logan High School has had (is having) its Thanksgiving Break, a lucky week for us all to kick back, watch anime, and stuff ourselves as close to death as we can be with turkey, potatoes, cranberries, and pie.
Yes, because of this break, we can finally take a week to think about what we are thankful for (even though most people don't really give a damn, and just want the break).
So for those of you loyal people who actually read this blog, take this time to wonder what you are thankful for.

I, personally, am thankful for the Japanime Club, for which without, I would be very very bored on Monday.
I'm also thankful for the Japanese culture, for making anime, and for giving me something to pass the boring-ass week away, since I basically have nothing else to do. The anime has wasted a chunk of my life away, and that is awesome.

Think for what you have to be thankful for.

As a member of the Japanime club, I wish the staff members and other fellow (loyal) members of the club a very, very Happy Thanksgiving.
Now go fall in a ditch and make me happy.

SSBB Doubles Tourney Success!

So today JapAnime Club had it's second tournament. The doubles tournament for Super Smash Bros. Brawl! It was long and tiring as well as being very stressful, but I hope all the competitors had a lot of fun! The winner...or should I say winnders had won a total of $34. Our winners were Ariel and Russ. Also...Ariel was our singles SSBB tournament winner too! Congratulations on winning you two and keep up the hard work!

This tournament also helped the club fundraise about $101. Thank you everyone for participating and we hope to be working with all of you again real soon.

Our winners are Ariel and Russ; as they won as Team Blue Ike and Olimar.
Then Charles was just there in the back.
The two that won are the two that are posing.

Haha. What's up?

Yes, continuing on Edmond's prior post, we had somewhat success at the tourney.
This included getting the tournament up and running faster than the prior SSBB tournament.
This also included things finished quickly.

If you're reading this, AND you stuck with us through the end, unlike those who wankered out.
Which brings up a concern that you may or may not see in the next post.

Anyway, thanks to all of you that chilled with us to the end. I want all of you to give a hugeass thanks to Janelle, Nick, and Mr. Seaton. Give the background help (me and some others) at least a little thanks.
As Nick said, we'll hopefully bring up other tournaments. If you wanna help, contact Nick, who will hopefully help us with all the other tournaments also.

Umm.. I really can't think of anything else to say. Edmond pretty much covered most of it, soo...

Jan Ken Pon! Tournament

Yes, we had a rock, paper, scissors tournament on Monday. Little did most of you bakas who didn't come, this was more than just a normal Jan Ken Pon tournament.
No... this was a Jan Ken PWN tournament.

Indeed, the rules were so.
1) Person who wins must swiftly defeat your foe with a huge paper fan before said foe has time to block with a flimsy box lid.
2) Successful = One point for winner.
3) Unsuccessful = No points all around (they're on me!).

Little did most of you people who bailed on Monday's tournament, this was, more or less, a laughfest.
Except when Aaron's DS got stolen (red and silver, so I've heard). So you a-hole who took it better give it back or Andre will use his epic ninja status and find you.
If we have any more stealing instances, we're gonna close that damn door, and make sure no one goes in or out without necessary permission. We're not gonna have more damn people stealing other people's crap.

And don't be stupid. Don't bring all your handheld or kickass tech stuffs to the class and stupidly leave it on the counter or the desk, or something like that. Take care of all your own sh*t.

Reminder: Next week (Monday, 17 November 2008) we will have the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Doubles Tournament.
One more helper would be nice, but see Janelle before you consider yourself part of legit. "staff".
IF YOU'RE HELPING, YOU CAN'T BE IN THE TOURNAMENT. I don't wanna answer those questions.

Other questions, ask me, VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS YOU MUST KNOW, ask Janelle or a REAL FULL TIME JAPANIME STAFF MEMBER. Don't bug Janelle with any stupid quesitons. She will be pissed.

Any questions, e-mail me at DrkBlader27@gmail.com. If I don't know the answer, then I'll tell you straight up, "Hey, I don't know the f***ing answer. Ask someone smarter." Don't give me spam. I've hacked computers before, and I know how to find your IP Address and get your computer shut down without you knowing it priorly.

That's it? Chill.
