Super Smash Bros. Brawl Singles Tournament
Ookkaayy.
This post is (obviously) about the SSBB tournament that happened, oh what, one week ago?
Yes, the staff (including me, mind you, I was the real loud one that jumped all over the place), got everything together and the whole tournament turned out to be real KA (kickass, I'll only state this once). Nick's friends came over with the Wiis and some remotes. We set things up with the TV's they brought also. Most of the people at JLJP gave us controllers, which was totally KA.
Uhhhh... Just to throw it out there. Give props to all the people at the tourney. Give extra props to our three finalists, and GIVE EPIC props to the dude who won (some dude with a name like "Oreo").
Epic thanks for keeping the room clean! I was impressed with that.
Give boos to the hecklers and the people who pissed the staff off. A-holes.
There WILL be another SSBB tourney (doubles) within the next month. Yes, you will have to pay again, and yes, rentals cost more.
Pick your partners before then! If you don't have a partner, we'll automatically assign you one. Whoever gets Ajani as a partner, kill yourself.
Rules will be posted here as soon as Janelle or Nick tells me the rules. I'll write them down, and you can ref. here for them.
Uhh... Yes, it prolly will be on a Monday, afterschool, so TELL EVERYONE. Money is nice. Yes you do get a prize if your team wins.
I can't think of anything else to say, so that's prolly it.

This is the first (unofficial) post of the (unofficial) James Logan Japanime Club Blog!
Yes, this is currently unofficial. I basically have no approval from the staff of the JLJP Club to do this, but whatever.
I hope I'll get some approval later.
Anyway, this blog will more or less update you on anything upcoming for the Japanime club, whether it be conventions, tourneys, fundraising, or just random rants from me, Vince (of course, about anime).
I might add some soundbytes from my friend (who hates me) Dith, at animeseed.com. Dith is a moderator of Animeseed, and has his reviews of multiple animes up on sites which I still have yet to find. I'm sure he'll hook me up.
Also, there's a Facebook, Myspace, AND Google group for the James Logan Japanime Club! Search us up on facebook, myspace, or google groups. There has still yet to be an official webpage for the JLJP club, but we're working on it.
